Welcome to the Swanscombe Tigers website - 'The Tigers' as the club is known was founded back in 1986 and we have for the last twenty four years been part of the local community in North Kent and have established ourselves as one of the premier Junior football clubs across the whole of Kent.
The Tigers have grown rapidly over the course of the last ten years and currently run twenty teams from our Under 7's through to our two Men's teams as well as a Girls and highly successful Ability teams, which cater for children and Adults with disabilities. Swanscombe Tigers are committed to being a really integral part of a rapidly changing local community and are proud of the work that we do.
The Club's primary aim for it's Junior teams is to provide and facilitate for local children of all ages and abilities a safe and positive envirionment in which they are able to learn,practice and play organised football. Our aim for our Senior sides is for them to be successful whilst promoting the FA's Respect campaign and for the Club to eventually secure a site within the local area which it can develop as it's own with a view to the Club becoming one of the Senior Club's in Kent football.
Swanscombe Tigers are the proud holders of the Football Association Charter Mark at Community,Development and Senior levels and are seen as one of the leading Club's in Kent by the Kent FA when it comes to the development of not only the Club but also it's many qualified FA coaches and this fact was acknowledged by the award of the Kent FA Charter Standard Club of the Year award in 2008.
As a Club we are very ambitious and are working closely with both the Kent FA and Swanscombe and Greenhithe Council to further our aims, which will allow us to continue the work that we do in the local Community as we approach our 25th Anniversary which we will be celebrating at the start of season 2011/12 with a formal dinner to be held at the Priestfield Banqueting Suite on Saturday 10th September 2011.This event will be attended by coaches,managers and players who have been part of the Club's success story over those twenty five years.
